Saber Interactive has released a short, one-minute trailer for Turok: Origins, showcasing a mix of takedowns, cutscenes, and in-engine footage. While it is presented as a gameplay trailer, it feels more like an in-engine showcase. However, it does confirm that the game will support both first-person and third-person perspectives.

In Turok: Origins, players step into the role of legendary Turok warriors to battle fierce dinosaurs and a deadly alien force threatening humanity across the galaxy. They can fight solo or in co-op against a wide range of enemies, including dinosaurs, creatures, and bosses across diverse environments like jungles, skies, swamps, and caves, all designed to test their combat skills. The game features fast-paced, intense combat that requires players to make full use of their arsenal, including melee strikes, special abilities, and a variety of finely tuned weapons to achieve victory.

Players can also unlock and upgrade a range of advanced weapons to gain an edge in combat. The arsenal includes plasma rifles, ray guns, sniper rifles, bows, and shotguns, allowing for varied and strategic gameplay.

Players in Turok: Origins can extract DNA from defeated enemies and the environment to unlock powerful abilities that dynamically evolve their suit during gameplay [1]. Each DNA upgrade not only changes the character’s appearance but also grants upgradable skills and combat advantages. The game is currently planned for release in Fall 2026.
