Former eBay employee Linara Bozieva launched an AI-driven marketing company after losing her job. The business relies on 27 specialized AI agents to handle tasks such as advertising, market research, analytics, and content operations.

According to Bozieva, AI systems now perform most of the company’s day-to-day work, while human staff mainly focus on oversight, strategy, and key decision-making.

After losing her job at eBay during a wave of tech industry restructuring tied to growing AI investment, Linara Bozieva chose not to immediately return to the competitive job market. Instead, she began experimenting with building her own AI-powered marketing business. Figure 1 shows Former eBay Employee Builds AI-Run Marketing Firm With 27 AI Agents.

What started as a personal project in 2024 evolved into an AI-driven company called Ravenopus, where AI agents handle a wide range of operations including research, advertising, analytics, content creation, and client management.

Linara Bozieva, originally based in Switzerland, relocated to the United States with her family before being laid off shortly afterward from eBay, where she had worked for around 11 years. The unexpected job loss pushed her to explore new business models that relied on fewer employees and greater automation.

Although she had no formal background in marketing, her experience in analytics gave her strong knowledge of workflows, systems, and data-driven decision-making. As AI technology advanced, she began experimenting with ways to connect multiple AI tools so they could collaborate with minimal human involvement. She initially tested Google’s AI platform before later integrating tools such as Claude Code into her automated agent systems.

In an interview with Business Insider, Bozieva said her company, Ravenopus, now operates with 27 custom AI agents that manage nearly every aspect of the business, including market research, advertising campaigns, analytics, creative production, and customer conversion tasks.

She also explained that the company follows a three-tier AI architecture. The first layer handles incoming tasks and triggers AI processes, the second layer acts as a router that assigns tasks to the appropriate AI agents, and the third layer carries out the actual execution of the work.

Linara Bozieva said she now spends only a few hours each week overseeing client accounts because AI systems handle most of the work that previously required large teams of employees. At the center of the setup are six primary AI agents specializing in areas such as finance, legal analysis, research, creative strategy, workflow optimization, and data analytics. Additional AI agents manage tasks including ad optimization, traffic growth, campaign reporting, and customer conversion activities.

Before accepting paying clients, Bozieva reportedly tested the system using 14 trial projects, including personal experiments and unpaid work for friends, to verify that the AI-driven workflow could consistently deliver reliable results.

According to the founder, the entire AI infrastructure costs less than $1,000 per month for subscriptions and AI services [1]. She believes repetitive office tasks will increasingly shift toward automation, while humans focus on supervision, strategic thinking, and decision-making. However, she also emphasized that human judgment and emotional understanding cannot be fully replaced by AI.
