Digital entrepreneurship (DE) education is a prevailing study area with a significant potential, but the present body of research is methodically disoriented and conceptually splintered. In an attempt to assess the evolution of this area, we focus on a collection of 89 journal articles published between 2001 and 2022. After a critical eligibility screening process, and systematic review, we explored the final sample using rigorous search methodology. Our results highlight a rapid increase in the number of publications after 2017, as well as a few author and journals groups addition. It is indicated that (a) four most essential conceptual paradigms of DE education (ecosystem, behavioral approach, success hurdles and factors, and learning and pedagogy) did exist; and (b) an integrating model resulting in the unifying theory is possible.
