Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms of Use”) apply to the AnaPub Publications site

Authorship Criteria

AnaPub Publications requires that all authors must have participated sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for the content. Authorship credit should be based on substantial contributions to the conception and design, execution, or analysis and interpretation of data. Additionally, all authors should be involved in drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content and must have read and approved the final version of the manuscript.

The criteria for authorship include:

  • Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work.
  • Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content.
  • Final approval of the version to be published.
  • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that any questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Individuals who only contributed to funding acquisition, data collection, or general supervision of the research group do not qualify for authorship. Such individuals should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section.

Corresponding Author

The corresponding author takes primary responsibility for communication with the journal during the manuscript submission, peer review, and publication process. This individual typically ensures that all administrative requirements, such as providing details of authorship, ethics committee approval, clinical trial registration documentation, and gathering conflict of interest forms and statements, are properly completed. These duties may be delegated to one or more co-authors.

Acknowledgements

Contributors who do not meet the authorship criteria should be listed in the 'Acknowledgements' section.

Addition or Removal of Authors After Submission

Generally, AnaPub Publications does not permit the addition or removal of author names after submission, except in exceptional circumstances and with a detailed written explanation. Any proposed changes in authorship must be satisfactorily explained.

To remove an author, a letter of consent from the individual agreeing to the removal of their name from the author list is required.

Given the complexity of these rules, authors are strongly advised to carefully assess and finalize the list of authors and their contributions before submission to avoid changes later.
