All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute.
Permitted third party reuse is defined by the following user license
JEBI uses an exclusive licensing agreement. Authors will retain copyright but license exclusive rights in their article to AnaPub Publications. Authors publishing with AnaPub Publications retain the copyright of their work under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY). Authors have the right to share their article in the same ways permitted to third parties under the relevant user license, as well as certain scholarly usage rights. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
In situations where authors are unable to retain copyright to their own article, such as when the author is a US Government employee, it is recommended that authors reach out to help@anapub.co.ke prior to submitting their article. By doing so, authors can seek guidance on whether their non-standard copyright request can be accommodated.
It is advisable for authors to review the requirements of their funding organization before opting for open access publishing, to ensure compliance with their policies.
