Panasonic’s new cloud-native Wi-Fi Portal offers airlines a fully agnostic solution that can be deployed across mixed fleets using multiple in-flight connectivity service providers. The platform gives airlines complete autonomy to manage and customize their in-flight connectivity portals without the need for formal change requests or approvals. Through intuitive self-service tools, airlines can tailor the portal to align with their brand identity, onboard service strategy, and broader commercial goals. Airlines can adjust and update a wide range of features, including content offerings, Wi-Fi packages, pricing models, and passenger entitlements. This includes providing free or discounted connectivity based on cabin class, loyalty program status, or other criteria, all in real time and at the airline’s discretion. The portal’s flexibility allows carriers to respond quickly to evolving passenger needs, implement promotional campaigns, or modify service tiers without relying on external approvals [1]. By combining operational control with a user-friendly interface, Panasonic’s Wi-Fi Portal empowers airlines to create a more personalized and engaging in-flight connectivity experience, enhancing passenger satisfaction and supporting revenue optimization.

The Wi-Fi Portal is built to streamline in-flight Wi-Fi purchases, eliminating the usual hassles passengers face. By leveraging Panasonic Avionics' partnerships with global mobile network operators, it allows passengers to access their Wi-Fi roaming plans directly through the airline portal at any time. Additionally, its intuitive and user-friendly interface makes buying connectivity services quicker and easier for everyone.

Through integration with Panasonic Avionics' OneMedia platform, airlines can generate revenue via their portal, enabling banner ads and video sponsorships using the new tool.
