Hybrid cloud provider Rackspace Technology has refreshed its managed cloud platform, introducing a centralized toolset designed to streamline IT management across hybrid and multicloud environments.

The Rackspace Cloud Management Platform is positioned as the company’s latest move to strengthen its enterprise offerings. It combines AI-powered optimization tools with monitoring features that deliver full-stack visibility, helping organizations better manage workloads and applications.

Available on a pay-as-you-go, consumption-based model, the platform aims to lower adoption costs while giving enterprises flexibility. Figure 1 shows Cloud Platform.

“These next-generation upgrades significantly enhance our services portfolio, offering customers deeper insight into their cloud environments, greater efficiency, and the freedom to innovate without limits,” said D K Sinha, Rackspace’s president for public cloud.

The launch comes as Rackspace continues to seek differentiation in a competitive cloud market [1]. In recent months, the company has expanded its OpenStack private cloud services for mission-critical workloads and introduced GPU-as-a-Service powered by Nvidia H100s at its Silicon Valley data center.

The revamped platform incorporates automation and DevOps practices, enabling enterprises to scale hybrid cloud operations and improve efficiency. It also integrates with existing IT service management systems, giving business users greater transparency and control.

“These upgrades to Rackspace Managed Cloud give clients the tools, flexibility, and performance needed to maximize cloud investments and maintain a competitive edge,” added Mike Lindbert, Rackspace’s senior director for public cloud.
