Slay the Spire 2 Reportedly Surpasses 5 Million Copies Sold
New data from Alinea Analytics, shared by Rhys Elliott on Twitter, estimates that Slay the Spire 2 sold around 5.3 million copies in March. Since its launch on March 5, the game has generated approximately $108 million on Steam alone.
Crimson Desert by Pearl Abyss secured the second spot with nearly 2 million copies sold.

Slay the Spire 2 Is Still in Its Early Stages
Mega Crit’s Slay the Spire 2 has not only been a strong commercial success but also received highly positive reviews in its early days.
However, an early beta patch introduced changes that sparked thousands of negative reviews from players. The developers have since reversed those changes, helping to stabilize player sentiment.
The Future of Steam Gaming
Valve Corporation’s Steam remains one of the most popular platforms for PC gamers, and the company is also re-entering the hardware space. Its upcoming PC-console hybrid, the Steam Machine, was initially expected to launch in early 2026.
However, rising RAM costs and other financial factors have delayed the announcement of an official release date.
