Fortnite Players Might Visit South Park in an Upcoming Update
It appears we might be heading to South Park in Fortnite soon, if a new leak is to be believed. Well-known Fortnite leaker HypeX — who has a strong track record — claims a major crossover is on the way that will bring South Park content into the game. Since nothing is officially confirmed yet, it’s best to stay cautious.

According to the leak, the collaboration will include several skins, a map boss, a new mythic weapon, a medallion, a consumable item, and even a Rift Anomaly inspired by Kenny’s endless deaths. That’s far more than a simple item shop bundle. Figure 1 shows Fortnite Could Soon Bring South Park to the Game.
HypeX also suggests that South Park characters will appear in mech suits, similar to the designs used for Bart and Lisa (The Simpsons) and Morty (Rick and Morty). This approach has become Fortnite’s go-to method for adapting child characters. After all, you can’t expect Eric Cartman to sprint across the island as he is.
Beyond that hint, it’s unclear which characters will be included. One thing seems certain, though: despite his appearances in recent episodes, President Donald Trump is almost guaranteed not to be part of the skin lineup.
While the specifics of most of these items remain unclear, the Rift Anomaly and Respawn Medallion are reportedly linked. The medallion’s function is fairly straightforward: if you possess it and are eliminated, you automatically respawn in the game without your team needing to use a Reboot Van. The “Everyone Kills Kenny” anomaly, according to the leak, would temporarily give this ability to all players—very fitting for the character, who is killed in nearly every episode only to return in the next. If the leak proves accurate, it’s unclear when this content might be released. Fortnite is currently at the start of Chapter 7, Season 1, with the next major event being the annual Winterfest—a holiday celebration resembling a large Advent calendar packed with cosmetics. Considering the rumored Harry Potter collaboration during the holidays, it seems likely that South Park content would arrive after the new year. Meanwhile, there’s still plenty of exciting content available in Fortnite. Chapter 7’s launch introduced Kill Bill and Back to the Future, but also sparked controversy, with Epic Games facing accusations of using AI-generated art for the new map. One artist has defended the work as entirely human-made, though Epic Games has yet to respond to GameSpot’s inquiries.
Leaks suggest Fortnite could introduce South Park-themed content in a future update, potentially bringing iconic characters and locations from the show into the game.
Timing of Release
Fortnite is currently in Chapter 7, Season 1. With the Winterfest holiday event and rumored Harry Potter collaboration taking place soon, South Park content might be scheduled for early next year.
What to Expect in Gameplay
Players might explore familiar South Park locations, interact with characters, or unlock themed cosmetics, blending Fortnite’s battle royale mechanics with South Park’s signature satire.
Community Reactions & Speculation
Fans are excited but cautious, especially as Epic Games faces ongoing discussions about AI-generated art in the new map. If confirmed, the crossover could be one of the most unexpected and humorous Fortnite updates yet.
