In mobile cloud computing, the mobile is the console and storage and processing of the data takes outside of it. It is one of the leading Cloud Computing research topics.

The main advantage of Mobile Cloud Computing is that there is no costly hardware and it comes with extended battery life. The only disadvantage is that has low bandwidth and heterogeneity.[1]

Mobile Cloud Computing is shown in figure 1. MCC stands for Mobile Cloud Computing which is defined as a combination of mobile computing, cloud computing, and wireless network that come up together purpose such as rich computational resources to mobile users, network operators, as well as to cloud computing providers.

Benefits of Mobile Cloud Computing

  1. Mobile Cloud Computing saves Business money.
  2. Because of the portability which makes their work easy and efficient.
  3. Cloud consumers explore more features on their mobile phones.
  4. Developers reach greater markets through mobile cloud web services.
  5. More network providers can join up in this field

Advantages of Mobile Cloud Computing :

  1. Extended battery life.
  2. Improvement in data storage capacity and processing power.
  3. Improved synchronization of data due to “store in one place, accessible from anywhere ” platform theme.
  4. Improved reliability and scalability.
  5. Ease of integration. [2]

Disadvantages of Mobile Cloud Computing

  • Network connectivity issues
  • Security concerns
  • Reliance on third-party services

Features of Mobile Cloud Computing:

Some of the widely known features of Mobile Cloud Computing are:

  • Accessibility
  • Cost-effectiveness
  • Collaboration[3]

MCC provides customers with superior storage and simple access to data. Unsurprisingly, successful mobile apps leverage these cloud-based app development advantages and many others. As more industries utilize MCC for enhancing consumer-focused functions, this demand is only expected to escalate. The key advantage of MCC is its ability to offload resource-intensive programs to the cloud, which reduces strain on device CPU, storage and battery life. [4]
