New developments in the world of military tech have spawned a new imaging system that will allow troops to see and detect living individuals as well as inanimate objects located behind walls via the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

Figure 1 shows that the technology – named Xaver 1000 – was developed by Israeli imaging solutions company Camero-Tech, who called it a new generation product made to offer armed forces, law enforcement agencies, intelligence operators, and first responders the capability to perform their tasks more efficiently than ever before. It is designed to create ‘3D visual images for soldiers to be aware of unprecedented situations. According to the agency, the device has the capability to allow soldiers to see ‘live objects. It can be seen whether it is stationary or moving, whether it is behind the wall.

A single user can operate the device, which then sends data directly to the headquarters via Wi-Fi. The device has a ten-inch touchscreen, allowing users to see living objects behind walls. It has technology that can tell users that the person behind the wall is an adult, a child or an animal; And they can tell if they are standing or sitting. [2]

Camero-Tech adds that even if an individual has been motionless for a prolonged period of time, the AI-assisted tech will still pick them up.

The 10.1inch touchscreen display requires very little training to be operated. At this present time, only the Israeli military will be able to make use of its proprietary technology, although interest in the device will surely have been piqued around the world.

“The XaverTM 1000 determines the most suitable approach to ensure successful life-saving missions in a variety of operational scenarios, such as hostage rescue situations,” says Amir Beeri, CEO and founder of Camero.
