Access Policy


Journal of Robotics Spectrum is an Open Access Journal When research is accepted for publication all articles will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. To provide open access, this journal has an open access fee (also known as an article publishing charge APC) which needs to be paid by the authors or on their behalf e.g. by their research funder or institution. The open access publication fee for this journal is usually USD 800, excluding taxes.


Open Access Policy

Journal of Robotics Spectrum accepts Gold open access publications which means that all published manuscripts are freely available for unlimited access.


Open access publishing provides immediate, worldwide free access to all published manuscripts. Readers can view, download, print, and redistribute any article without any financial barrier, enabling greater distribution of an article.


Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND)

For non-commercial purposes, lets others distribute and copy the article, and to include in a collective work as long as they credit the author(s) and provided they do not alter or modify the article.


Open access articles published in our journals are freely available online, immediately upon publication. The publication costs for Journal of Robotics Spectrum are covered by the AnaPub Publications (Kenya) until 31 December 2024, so authors do not need to pay an article-processing charge for publications.


Copyright and Licensing

For all articles published in Journal of Robotics Spectrum published by AnaPub Publications copyright and full publishing rights are retained by the authors. Articles are licensed under an open access Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND license, meaning that anyone may download and read the paper for free.

In exceptional circumstances articles may be licensed differently. If you have specific conditions (such as one linked to funding) that does not allow this license, please mention this to the editorial office of the journal at submission. Exceptions will be granted at the discretion of the publisher.
