A Historic Launch in India’s EV Journey
EzUrja, in partnership with Andrew Yule & Company Ltd (AYCL), has launched India’s first E-Mobility Microgrid integrated with the country’s largest EV charging hub in Togami, Thakurpukur, Kolkata. This is not only a national milestone but also ranks as the second-largest EV charging hub in the world—a major leap in India's transition to green mobility.
Built for India, by India
Spread across 2 acres, the hub is equipped with 300 locally developed EV chargers, boasting 80% localisation under the “Make in India” initiative. This commitment to indigenous development empowers local industries while reducing reliance on imports and cutting down the carbon footprint of infrastructure deployment.
Powered by Smart, Clean Energy
The hub runs on a microgrid that integrates solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), offering a sustainable, efficient, and off-grid-ready charging solution. It reflects a future-ready model where EV charging does not strain traditional power sources, but instead contributes to a greener grid.
Innovation at Its Core
EzUrja is redefining EV infrastructure using advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, and a proprietary Charging Management System (CMS). Its innovations include the Ez4Ev Mobile Charger (150kWh/120kW) for flexible on-the-go charging and EzAmps DC Fast Chargers for rapid, grid-based service—perfect for fleets and high-demand zones.
Partnerships Driving the Future
This initiative is a true public-private partnership success, with AYCL bringing legacy strength and EzUrja adding next-gen vision. It also includes Snap-E, East India’s largest electric fleet company, as a strategic partner. Together, they are setting a precedent for building robust, scalable e-mobility ecosystems across India.
