Skyrim Receives DLC-Sized Expansion Mod: 200+ Locations, 180 Quests, and 8,500 Voiced Lines

Modder 'agerweb' has unveiled a new DLC-sized expansion mod titled "Shumer and the Priest Kings" for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This expansive addition features over 200 locations, upwards of 180 quests, and boasts 8,500 lines of fully voiced dialogue. Dive into the narrative of Shumer through completing quests, delving into written materials such as books, journals, and letters, and engaging in conversations with various characters.

Shumer spans an area equivalent to about three Skyrim holds, boasting more than 150 map-marked locations (along with 40 unmarked ones) and over 80 underground sites. [1] Additionally, two small islands named Barbella and Althira enrich the landscape. With a population exceeding 1000 NPCs, Shumer is a bustling world awaiting exploration.

Additionally, there are 42 journals and numerous letters scattered throughout the world. Treasure hunters will also have the opportunity to unearth four new treasure maps.

The mod boasts an impressive array of 180 quests, including 21 for the Main Quest, 34 side quests, 21 guild quests, and 70 various quests scattered throughout Shumer. Additionally, players can embark on 38 new quests across the islands and Skyrim. In essence, this expansion serves as a substantial DLC or fan-made addition, making it highly recommended for download.

In the realm of Skyrim fan expansions, several noteworthy mods stand out. Wyrmstooth introduces new quests and dungeons, while another mod integrates elements from The Witcher games into Skyrim. Additionally, fans can explore a Castlevania-inspired mod and another that implements the Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
