Fortnite is launching a new mode today, June 22, called Fortnite Reload. This mode features a new map, numerous classic weapons and locations, endless revives as long as one team member remains alive, and no vehicles. According to The Fortnite Team, Fortnite Reload is a 40-player "Fill or No Fill Squads" experience on a more compact map, featuring points of interest such as Tilted Towers and Retail Row. Players will be able to return to the action much quicker compared to other modes.

Figure 1 shows Fortnite Reload Mode: Akin to Warzone's Resurgence. When a player is downed, their individual reboot timer starts and will continue as long as one other team member is alive. The reboot timers start at 30 seconds and increase to 40 seconds later in the match. [1] Teammates can shorten the time until their friends return by downing an opponent (reducing the timer by 2 seconds), eliminating a player (reducing it by 4 seconds), and wiping out an entire squad (reducing it by 10 seconds). While it's great to have your teammates returning frequently, it's important to note that reboots will end towards the final moments of a match. Therefore, be cautious and avoid getting too comfortable with aggressive tactics.

In addition to the frequent reboots, Fortnite Reload will feature a variety of unvaulted loot at launch. This includes the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, OG Heavy Shotgun, Tactical Submachine Gun, Infantry Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler. Victory Crowns can still be earned in Fortnite Reload. When you eliminate a player, they will drop Small Shield Potions, medium ammo, light ammo, shotgun shells, and (for Build mode only) 50 of each building material. So, expect plenty of fun and wild action.

Regarding rewards, Fortnite Reload includes introductory quests, each granting 20,000 XP. Completing three quests unlocks the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six quests earn the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine quests reward the NaNa Bath Back Bling.[2] Additionally, achieving a Victory Royale will gift players The Rezzbrella Glider. Fortnite Reload aims to provide players with a more classic Fortnite experience without vehicles. This mode can be played in both Battle Royale and Zero Build formats.

This weekend is significant for Fortnite, featuring the arrival of the concert event "Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury." This interactive experience celebrates the music of the iconic rock band with performances of six of their songs. Adding to the excitement, Fortnite has also introduced Pepper Roni from Lego Island. Players can meet him at the Pizza Shop in LEGO Tycoon: Tilted Towers.
