Recent advancements, developments, and deployments of cognitive radio network has become one of the most common research directions due to CR an enabling technology for opportunistic spectrum access in wireless networks area. Cognitive radio is a certain extension of software defined radio that's aware of its surrounding radio environments to detect unused spectrum during cognitive cycle. Challenges for the CR networks remain to decrease the overall network security and increase the throughput without compromising the reliability.
