Dr. Venkatesh S working as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his Post-Doctorate in the area of Multi-cyclone arrangement for emission control in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India in 2022 as institute funded category. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy in the area of Emission control equipment called cyclone separator from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2018. He has completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2006. He has completed his master’s degree in Engineering Design in 2013. He has 3 years of industry experience, 12 years of teaching experience and 2.6 years of post-doctoral work experience. He is a recognized research supervisor in Anna University Chennai. Four research scholars are pursing Ph.D under his guidance. He received a grant for Rs. 22,50,000 from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India for pursuing his post-doctorate. He has published 20 research articles in SCI, and 7 Scopus indexed journals.
Dr. Milon Selvam Dennison is a Senior lecturer and Research coordinator at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, specifically in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Kampala International University. He obtained his PhD degree from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, INDIA in 2018. He also has nine years experience as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, INDIA. In addition, He has various publications in both national and international journals. His current research interests include metal cutting, metal cutting fluids and machining optimization, Near Dry Machining (NDM), Applicability of eco-friendly and nano cutting fluids in the field of machining. With all his strong foundation and vast experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, he is in the right position to guide and shape the minds of the future as well as creating sustainable solutions for a better, Uganda, Africa and the world at large here at KIU where we continue to explore the heights!. He has published more than 20 articles in SCI journals.
Dr. Suresh Kumar R brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role as Professor & Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, affiliated to Anna University. With a solid academic background from Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, Vellore, for both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, he furthered his academic journey by earning his PhD in engineering from Anna University, Chennai. With over 18 years of teaching and 13 years of dedicated research experience, Dr. Suresh Kumar R is a driving force in his field. His research interests span a wide range, focusing on Machinability Studies, Composites, Tribological Studies, and Optimization. Notably, his contributions have been recognized with a significant research grant of 59 Lakhs from DST, enabling the establishment of the Advanced Center for Material Processing and Testing. He has authored over 20 articles published in various prestigious international journals and conferences, contributing valuable insights to the academic community. Additionally, his commitment to the advancement of knowledge is evident through his active engagement as a life member in seven international scientific and professional research bodies. Furthermore, he also plays a pivotal role as an editor and reviewer for several esteemed international journals, contributing to the quality and rigor of scholarly publications in his field.
