The concept of pairing an external graphics enclosure (eGPU) with a super-portable laptop isn’t new, but the ROG Flow X13 laptop and XG Mobile eGPU are taking the concept further. eGPUs are traditionally much larger than laptops (they’re usually as big as the desktop-style graphics cards they hold), meaning you’re forced to leave them on your desk and only connect your laptop for boosted graphics performance at home.
