The Noveto N1 speaker is one of those products that could come along and revolutionise… or flop, completely depending on how well it can do its big selling point. This is a speaker that Noveto claims can project sound to just you, acting as a speaker that you can enjoy but your colleagues don’t have to deal with your 90’s classics playlists on repeat.

Noveto explains that this is done through Smart Beaming with Alexa and an AI-based built-in face, gesture and sound recognition interface. It’s essentially like wearing an invisible pair of headphones as you stand in front of the speaker, the sound will come directly to you. [2]

Figure 1 shows the N1 is described as a state-of-the-art smart audio device with built-in Alexa intelligence and Noveto’s proprietary smart audio beaming technology. The N1 creates an immersive binaural audio sound without disturbing others and without the need to use a pair of headphones. At Pepcom, and throughout CES, attendees will have the opportunity to experience what Noveto’s describes as “a new kind of sensory listening experience”. [3]

Control buttons can be found on top of the N1, complete with 3.5mm and USB-C ports. The speaker itself will also be capable of wireless connectivity, with built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Production is underway now, though as [4] yet there's no word on when it will be available to buy or how much it will cost.

Pricing & Availability: The Noveto N1 is being shown to the public for the first time at the 2022 CES in Las Vegas and will begin shipping to customers before the end of Q1 2022 at a price of $800. [3]
