Figure 1 shows in terms of utility, the smart lightbulb can track someone’s sleep in addition to basic health metrics like temperature and heart rate. The bulb is designed to serve as a passive monitoring system that negates the need for dedicated wearable devices.

In that regard, there are some lingering questions about the accuracy of the bulb’s readings, especially when compared to more traditional health trackers like watches and rings that are worn directly on the body. However, the smart bulb should be able to track big movements, such as falls or other injuries. [2]

Sengled Light Bulb Release Date

At the time of writing, Digital Trends wrote that the Sengled Smart Health Monitoring Light is still in the development phase. The company has not yet mentioned any details about its pricing and the accuracy of its health-tracking capabilities.

The lights will react to any content, regardless of the source input, including streaming services, gaming systems, traditional cable, and DVDs, matching the colors from [4] different areas of the screen to sections of the LED strips.
